Our Unique Systems

Universal Floor Design and our Partners Outer Sanctum have been integral in developing and installing a made to measure galvanised steel framed system that can be deployed to create flooring, walls, steps and seating as well as other configurations.

The system is made from precision engineered galvanised steel and it’s manufactured in the UK. The construction is strong, stable, highly durable, lightweight and free standing. 

This versatile system can be seated on our adjuster feet which makes it effective when coping with uneven or sloping ground. It also offers the facility to raise or lower floor levels where appropriate.

The construction allows us to work around obstacles or existing fixtures. We can bridge manholes, drainage and other services, creating clean views whilst still allowing easy access for maintenance needs.

The system can accommodate all standard tile sizes which can be fitted quickly and be replaced individually if necessary.

The strength and light weight of this system means that foundation loads and sizes are reduced by over 70% relative to concrete and brick work construction.

Site waste and soil removal is virtually eliminated by the use of pre-fabricated light steel frames.

Site safety is improved by a factor of 5 according to HSE statistics due to the off site construction process. Site waste is virtually eliminated by the use of pre-fabricated light steel frames compared to the industry average wastage of 10% in construction materials. Use of components rolled to length results in no
production waste.
